Anda Paplet or Egg Paplet is the Indian street food delicacy with the goodness of eggs.
It's a complete egg lovers delight.
This dish is a meal by itself, Best had as evening snack or for Dinner.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 4 Eggs
- 3 Onion
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1/2 tbsp chopped Garlic
- 1 chopped Green chilly
- chopped Coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1/2 tbsp Red chilly flakes
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Black paper powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tbsp Red chilly powder
STEP 1
Making stuffing
- Put a pan on medium flame add 1 tbsp Oil.
- When oil turns hot add 2 tbsp chopped Onion, 1 tbsp chopped Tomato and 1/2 tbsp chopped Garlic mix it well and cooked on medium flame for 5 minute.
- After 5 min add 1 chopped Green chilly, 1/2 tsp Coriander powder, 1/2 tsp Cumin powder, 1/2 tsp Black paper powder, 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp salt, mix well with Onion and Tomatoes.
- Now take 2 boiled Eggs, separate the Yolk part and grate the white part in mixture.
- After mixing cooked for 5 min on low flame.
- Our stuffing is ready. Now its time to make Omelet.
STEP 2Making Egg Paplet
- First take a bowl and broke 2 Eggs in it. now add 1/4 cup Onion, chopped Coriander leaves, 1/2 tsp Salt, 1/2 tbsp Red chilly flakes mix it well.
- Now put a pan on medium flame add 2 tbsp Oil, when oil turns hot add Egg mixture.
- Cooked for 5 min on low flame.
- Take stuffing and add on Omelet.
- Now cover the stuffing with Omelet and cooked for 2 min.
- Egg Paplet is ready take out in serving dish and prepare for Paplet Gravy.
STEP 3
Making Gravy
- Turn on the gas flame and put a pan add 2 tbsp Butter.
- When Butter melt add 1 chopped Onion, 1 chopped Tomatoes cooked for 5 min.
- After 5 min add 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder, 1/2 tsp Coriander powder, 1/2 tsp Salt, 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder mix well and cook for 1 min.
- After 1 min add 2 Eggs yolk and mess with help of spoon.
- Now add 1/2 cup Water and cover for 10 min.
- After 10 min our Egg Paplet gravy is ready.
Plate the stuffed Omelet in the middle and add the gravy on the sides. Add grated egg white or cheese and coriander leaves on top and serve it hot.
